This is where our learners get to have fun putting their skills to the test. Tournaments are an exciting way for learners to really engage with the content we work through with them and for them to engage with each other socially.

 

Weekend tournaments are run on either Saturday, or both Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 - 16:00. All our schools are invited to attend the tournament at one of the member schools.  Transport money and comprehensive lunches are provided.

 

Tournaments generally have 3 debates held a day. Tournaments offer learners the chance to grow their cofidence, to vocalise their opinions, and to hone the many skills practiced in workshops. Here our competent volunteers adjudicate debates between schools.

 

These tournaments form the competitive aspect of the league and much pride comes with winning any particular tournament.
